For many years I have worked as an operator and director of photography in the various sectors of audiovisual communication. I am based in Rome and as a freelancer I collaborate with Italian and foreign productions for the creation of documentaries, reports, news, educational, corporate and advertising videos. I can use stabilized systems and I have obtained the certificate to be able to take aerial shots with drones.I specialize in underwater filming which I have been doing for many years. As an underwater operator, I combine my professional training as a cameraman with a wealth of experience in scuba diving. My diving career began in 1977 with the first open circuit certification and today I dive with silent rebreathers in the deepest areas of our sea.I have a good knowledge of marine biology and the Mediterranean Sea where I am successfulI mention filming rare underwater sequences of fin whales feeding. During my career I have created numerous documentaries and television reports for Italian and foreign broadcasters, institutional films for environmental associations and research institutes. I took care of the filming of the official films of the Italian Swimming Federation (FIN) on the different styles of swimming and water poloor, diving and synchronized swimming and I participated, as a diver, in several films for the cinema and the television and for commercials. I have a large archive of underwater images of the Mediterranean Sea and Oceans, used by many productions for the creation of important international documentaries.
